Netball New Zealand Secondary Schools Team 2023 Campaign

Fixed term, part-time

  • Head Coach
  • Assistant Coach

These are key coaching roles for the development of New Zealand’s pathway players. Coaches will be required to work with the NNZ Pathway Programs Manager to develop a performance environment and culture which produces athletes capable of winning at the international level. Working as part of the NNZ High Performance team, you will work with system coaches to support the player development of nationally identified players and coach the NZ Secondary School team during international competition.

Umpire Development Lead - Mainland Netball

  • Fixed term – ending 30 November 2023
  • 30 hours per week

About the Role

The key purpose of this role is to:

  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure a sustainable Umpire development system is in place that enhances the quality of Umpires, Umpire Coaches and Selectors in Mainland.
  • Work with the Mainland Community Trainer to ensure there are enough Umpire Coach Developers to grow the capability of Umpire Coaches.
  • Utilise insights to enable and influence, empowering others to drive a locally led sustainable system.
  • Plan with Centres to ensure that Centre Umpire development needs are identified and a plan for meeting those needs is in place.
