Netball New Zealand is pleased to announce a new partnership with one of New Zealand’s largest independent, locally owned car rental companies, Snap Rentals.
The new one-year deal sees Snap Rentals become an official partner with the governing body which involves supporting the Silver Ferns, ANZ Premiership – including some of the Premiership teams – along with the international FAST5 Netball World Series.
Snap is celebrating its 10th year in the car rental industry and in this short time, it has grown to become one of the largest NZ-owned operators in the country. Having previously made waves as the first rental operator to offer electric vehicles in NZ, Snap is no stranger to challenging the multinational corporate giants.
Securing this partnership with Netball New Zealand is a key example of Kiwis supporting Kiwis and is something both Snap and the NZ community can be proud of.
Snap Rentals have four rental locations New Zealand wide, including three airport rental depots – in Auckland City, Auckland Airport, Christchurch, and Queenstown.
The new partnership has been welcomed by Netball NZ chief executive Jennie Wyllie said she was looking forward to working with the innovative company, Snap Rentals.
“Our netballers are always on the move with various elite events like the Cadbury Netball Series for our Silver Ferns and our domestic ANZ Premiership, so it is exciting to join forces with Snap Rentals who are located around the country,” she said.
“Netball New Zealand is community minded and driven by similar goals of Snap Rentals by going that extra mile in caring for their community.”
Snap Rentals chief executive Jamie Bennett said they were delighted to join forces with Netball New Zealand.
“We’re excited to come on board with Netball NZ for the 2024 season and we believe this partnership will be able to help netballers around the country at various levels,” he said.
“To be able to offer our support for New Zealand’s elite netballers – whether that be Silver Ferns or ANZ Premiership players – to getting in behind the FAST5 Netball World Series, Snap Rentals is looking forward to a successful relationship with netball in New Zealand.”
